Sora Remsbergs FIRST day

Amy made it through the first day safe and sound. We recieved a hand written letter that said;

So I made it through one day! I dont even know how to describe it, but it went slow and fast. Elder Miles is my teacher and he is very nice. Thankfully he spoke SOME English to us. I have two companions. They are awesome. Sora (Sister) Hoskings is from Utah and she played basketball at Rocky Mountain college! She knows Janae from the singles ward. Sora Zimmerman is from Mesa Arizona, she is so cute. The Lord really has blessed me with great companions. We actually are only staying in the MTC till the 10th of October. We have three other roommates. They have been here for 6 weeks and their Romanian is very good. They really stress SYL (speek your language) here. There are 5 sisters in my district, no elders. Kind of wierd, but nice at the same time.
We had a meeting today with mock investigators. It was amazing to see that as they had questions I just wanted to let them know about the gospel. I guess i never really understood how missionaries could love there investigators so much, but today I got a small taste. The days are so packed with studying and learning that i am expecting to be exausted. My P days are wednesday so i will be writing then. Use DearElder.com it is way fast! I cant wait to start tomorrow, it is going to be hard, but im ready. I love you all so very much and i cant wait to hear from you.
Love Sora Remsberg

5 Days and 8 hrs in the MTC

Not like anyone is counting, but Amy has been in the Missionary Training Center for 5 DAYS and 8 HOURS . Where in the world has the time gone? All that i know is that she will be there for another wonderful two months and three weeks until her 25 hr plane ride to ROMANIA.

Anyways, painting a mental picture for Sister Remsbergs last moments before the MTC are kinda a funny one. She didnt go to bed till around 2 am wednesday morning, and then decided to get up in the morning around 8 and take a brisk 5 mile jog in the basement of Grandpa C's house. She then proceded to call everyone in her phone book to say her last goodbyes for 18 months. After her phone calls, it then came the time to load up in the car and head over to the MTC. I think she was so ready to become a missionary that she forgot to cry, miss her family and friends, and wave when she left:) However, she probably is doing amazing, but stopped her 5 mile long jogs and replaced it with reading Preach My Gospel and The Book Of Mormon.

The picture is also of Amy right before she went into the MTC.

And Shes Off

Amy is offically on her way to the MTC !!! I cant speak for everyone but man am I going to miss her face and her voice. All that I do know is that she is going to be an AMAZING Sister missionary and rock that Romanian language:)
It was crazy how fast the summer went by and how soon her date to report to the MTC came. Tuesday the 9th of August Amy packed her whole life into two suitcases and loaded them into Grandpa Remsbergs missionary carivan. The car, as you can see, was decoraded to perfection for the transport of our precioius cargo to the wonderful state of Utah. As for now, Sora Remsberg will be in the MTC at 1:15 tomorrow and starting an adventure that will be with her a liftime.
PS: WORK THAT MTC SORA REMSBERG

Goodbye Oceanside, Hello Romania!

So today Amy was set apart to serve as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The blessing was beautiful and we couldn't be more proud.
Ps. The 2nd picture is Amy with some cute girls in the ward

Mission Farewell

I was so happy to have most of my family there for my farewell. I never thought that I would have a farewell, but mine has already come and gone.
