Ceau!
I would like to start by saying Happy Father's Day to all the fathers, especially to my dad! I am so lucky to have him and his example in my life.
I cannot believe it. It is the end of my 6th transfer. We will be heading down to Bucaresti tomorrow at 7pm with a sleeper train. My companion will be going to Cluj and I will be training! Can you believe it? I am super excited. Arad is such an awesome place to start your mission. I am excited to meet her. It seems just a couple weeks ago that I flew into Romania. I was so tired and so shocked about everything. Time just seems to go by so quickly. I now find it normal to not speak in English. I now find it normal to wear a skirt all day. I find it normal that there are tiny little pretzel stands all over the place. I find it normal that I ride in buses and trams all day. I find it normal that people stare at my nametag all day. I just love all the little things about Romania!
It has really started to warm up this last week. Summer has come. It stays light later and everyone is outside which makes it easier to find lots of people to talk to. We are meeting with a man from english class. He is so prepared for the gospel. He is married and has a 2 year old son. They have started coming to Family Home Evening. I can just see him as a Branch President in a couple of years.

This week we taught a lot from the Family Proclamation to the World. I forget how lucky we are to have modern day revelation and guidance from living prophets and apostles. What they teach us and what they do is exactly what Christ taught us when he was here. As the world continues to change I realize more and more how the gospel does not change. It was the same for Adam and Eve. It was the same for the prophets and people in the Bible, it was the same for those in the Book of Mormon and it is the same for us. We need to realign ourselves with the basic principles and doctrines of the church. It is easy to talk about rules or ideas or deep doctrine, but the gospel is simple. It is easy enough for even a child to understand. We must become as little children, meek and submissive, loving Heavenly Father and desiring to do his will.
Va Iubesc,
Sora Remsberg
