Ceau (pronounced Ciao)
This past week we had zone conference. I feel so uplifted and I feel like we received so much personal revelation and direction to help us become better missionaries and a better people. I know that President and Sora Hill are called of God to lead and guide this mission here in Romania and I am so blessed to have them here, as well as all the other missionaries that I get to serve with.
I will share with you one thing that President Hill told us all before the close of conference, I believe it can apply to anyone. He was asked by one of the zone leaders "What are the goals that you have for the missionaries here in Romania?" His response was comforting and not all too unexpected. He said "I want them to be worthy of the spirit at all times, to work hard, and by the end of their missions to become the missionaries they wanted to become." How simple. As I have had time to think about these three things I have really started to think about the missionary I want to become, or for a matter of fact, the person I want to become. We are all blessed with the gift of agency. No one is going to force us to do things that we don't want to or even force us to do the right thing. We decide our destinies. However, how much easier is it when we align our will with that of the Lord and do the simple things such as remaining worthy of the spirit, working hard and striving to become the people we want to become.
We are still working a lot with the less-active members in the branch and we have been given a lot of new materials to find other investigators through different methods. I am excited for this week! The gospel is a gift. It can solve any problem in our lives if we just let it.
